The loss of coaching privileges is causing some funky lack of clock management. That catch by Sims just helped make up for that.

Some of the stats have been updated, but they are still about 10 minutes of game time behind what they should be. I will summarize the game once those stats become final.

Really entertaining game to watch. I really hope Trevor Kennedy's injury isn't too serious.

With the win the Empire clinch the Intense Conference championship and home field advantage in the conference playoffs. Tough one tonight. My thoughts are with Trevor Kennedy. I hope he has not played his last game of the season. Thank you to David for an awesome game preview and to DiamondThief for trying to keep up with the quarter summaries, even though the stats were not updated by the league. Thank you to Yeseeka and Kasey for being in the chat. We had a small group, but it was a good game to follow. The Empire are back in action Friday, June 10 as they go to Nebraska to play the Danger. That game starts at 5 p.m. so be sure to join us for that one. The Portland Steel are in action on Saturday, June 11 at 6 p.m. (pacific) when they play the Rattlers in Arizona. Thank you everyone!

Update on Kennedy: Not an Achilles injury. They think it may be a ankle fracture according to Coach Shackleford.

Update on Kennedy: Not an Achilles injury. They think it may be a ankle fracture according to Coach Shackleford. Ankle fractures take between 6-8 weeks for full healing. Spokane has 3 games left, then the league wide bye for the holiday weekend, then the first-round bye by winning the Intense Conference. That puts Spokane hosting the Intense Conference championship in Week 6. The week after that, should Spokane wins that game, is the United Bowl. Perhaps, he could return for the United Bowl. I'm hoping he can return. If he's lost for the season, that's a huge blow to the Empire's offense.
