Big crowd in AZ on CBSSN tonight. Butera is there and spoke on the broadcast though probably not the audience for that here. He say anything of note or was he spewing the same smoke and mirrors he was blasting last year? Yeah, not really. League is in great shape of course. Did say 5 to 6 other cities are in discussions about adding teams, but that's all he said about that other than looking at international marketing too, which is nothing new either really.

If the playoff standings stay as they are going into this game, the Steel will face the Predators in the first round of the playoffs. Tampa Bay has a tiebreaker over Portland? Even though the Steel beat Tampa? You are correct, Never mind my last comment! However, in the AFL, who knows?!

Wonder how many of them would replace the 3 teams (Portland, Jacksonville, Los Angeles) that are in question.

we can't hold anyone on 4th down and we can't convert on 4th down. this is not a good sign.

Yeah, don't think he meant all of them in discussion to join the league next year or anything like that. Just 5-6 in talks about possible expansion and maybe deciding which ones could add any teams. The number is all he mentioned about it, nothing more specific about it.

That's a spark the Steel needed.
Now if only their defense can get stops.

Wow again. Didn't think he had maintained possession while going down, nor did I think they would overturn the call regardless. But I'm one of the few who actually like the strict requirements of a completion in the NFL. What down was that TD on?

They should not even had to have reviewed that. That catch was obvious.
