It seems like yesterday that we were just starting. The season is almost half way over and the playoffs are fast approaching.
How do the Screaming Eagles fit into the playoff equation? The league qualifies the top two from each conference. Nebraska and Spokane are the leaders right now in the mix (the Danger own the tiebreaker).
The Screaming Eagles have a return game with the Danger in Nebraska on April 22 in what likely could mean the end of the season if they lose. They have lost both games to Spokane, thus barring a collapse by the Empire they can not win the conference championship.
The Eagles most likely are in a must win situation from here on out. This would make a NFL team envious. Can this young team handle the pressure?
We are about to find out starting this Friday with the Wichita Falls game in Texas. The Nighthawks are explosive but the Eagles have played well as of late look for them too come out on top in a squeaker 65-60.
Next week Who is your pick for coach of the year? We will discuss.

It's going to be an uphill climb if the Screaming Eagles are to grab a playoff spot. The Rattlers could be the wild card to threaten the Danger and Empire. If Sauk can turn this around for the Screaming Eagles, then they could at least challenge for that second spot. In the Intense Conference, it seems any team could be knocked off at any time. The Screaming Eagles need to start putting some wins together and see what they can do.
