Recently, he took a few moments to answer our questions:
1. What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in football so far?
My greatest achievement in football thus far would have to be my sophomore year of college. I acquired an injury that was suppose to end my running and football career. But I was able to regain full speed and strength within 5 months to play in the biggest game of my career and win the game's MVP vote.
2. What were your first impressions of Project FANchise and the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles?
I really like the idea of project franchise, it's actually an idea I've even thought of myself before actually knowing it would happen. I like to think of it as a real life madden game! I've actually never been to Utah so my first impression was wow this is a beautiful place to play football.
3. What was it that made you want to come to Utah and to earn a roster spot on the team?
I figured if exposure is what I need then why not come to an exciting brand new organization and leave a legacy to be remembered. After all we are all apart of history!
4. Who has inspired you the most in your football career and in life?
I have a tattoo on my right arm in honor of my late grandmother. As I watched her fight the battle for her life she never showed any signs of defeat. She instilled the same fight into me and I have used this knowledge and will to keep pressing through my career, to jump over obstacles and never take no for an answer. And the one thing she's always stressed was never forget where you come from, but to also never forget where you're going.
5. What is your biggest long-term goal for your football career?
My biggest long term career goal in football would be to earn an NFL pension/ super bowl.
6. What would you like to accomplish this season?
I would like to set the bar high with records that will be here to stay! And also to create enough attention to be given a chance at the next level. While also creating an avenue for other athletes who desire the same things.
7. What are you looking forward to most about being a Screaming Eagle?
I believe there is a lot of opportunity in Salt Lake City for a FANchise like the Eagles. And I look forward to growing with something so much larger than myself.
8. What would you like Screaming Eagles and IFL fans to know about you?
Everything I'm not made me everything I am! let's go Eagles!!
