Larry Weir should stop saying "All they need is a field goal" when they can't make a field goal.

And Dowdell with the dagger on that TD run.
Huge breakdown by SLC's defense.

Not a good idea by Dowdell there to score, he hould have fallen down so the game would be over. Now SLC has 2 TOs and can take the game into OT. The Empire put the ball in MVP candidate Verlon Reed's hands. Probably not the best idea.

that might be good for the Screaming Eagles. Larry may be correct.

And Dowdell with the dagger on that TD run. Huge breakdown by SLC's defense. Larry Weir thinks that was intentional by the defense. Get the ball back and try to tie it.

The Screaming Eagles are in scoring distance with 2 TOs. This game is not over.

Great return from Calhoun. Moment of truth for the Screaming Eagles.

Wow. The Empire need to get a stop on this 2 pt conversion or the game goes into OT. Lucky SLC committed a dumb penalty.

Sauk is very angry with #21 on that. 15 yard penalty.

Dotson just got flagged again for throwing his helmet. And he got ejected.

Dotson just got flagged again for throwing his helmet. And he got ejected. And, "The penalties off set and we'll have a kickoff." That sounded funny!

I wonder how ticked Sauk is for that game. Nearly pulled the upset.

I don't know, that ending seemed like homecooking. It appeared to me that SLC recovered with a second left. Even so the Empire get off by the scrape of their teeth. Sioux Falls should have their way with Spokane next week IMO (Sorry David. )

Sioux Falls should have their way with Spokane next week IMO (Sorry David. ) Spokane is lucky to get out of this one with a win. Two bonehead penalties on Dotson at the end. The first one could nearly have cost Salt Lake a realistic chance at converting a two-point conversion.
