6/18/17 -
The Indoor Football league's conference championship games will be presented as a double header.
In the United Conference, the Iowa Barnstormers will visit the Sioux Falls Storm on June 24 for a 3:05 p.m. (PDT) kickoff. The teams met twice this season, with the Storm winning both games. The first was a dominating 70-13 win in South Dakota on April 29, and topped the Barnstormers by a 45-24 count in the season finale on June 17. The Storm are looking to win their seventh straight United Bowl. The Barnstormers are making their first playoff appearance since 2009 when they competed in the Arena Football League off shoot af2.
In the Intense Conference, the Arizona Rattlers will host the Nebraska Danger on June 24 at 6 p.m. (PDT). The Rattlers defeated the Danger in both their meetings this season. Arizona squeaked out a 39-36 win in Grand Island on April 7, and came away with a 43-33 win in Grand Island. The Rattlers, at 12-4 clinched their playoff birth following week 13. The Danger are returning to playoffs with a 9-7 record after dispensing to the Wichita Falls Nighthawks in their season finale, 59-44.
The winners of the conference championship games will go to battle in the United Bowl. That game date and time are to be determined. The top two teams from each conference earned playoff spots this season. Last year, it was three.
The Spokane Empire hosted the Intense Championship game, beating the Danger 55-44. In the United Conference Championship last season, the Storm bested the Cedar Rapids Titans, 54-28. The Danger earned a trip to the conference championship game with a 64-52 win over the Billings Wolves in Montana. The Titans wrote their ticket to the conference championship by beating the Wichita Falls Nighthawks, 66-36.
SCtoC will have game previews for each game, as well as the United Bowl, The Intense and United Conference championship games will be available for live streaming on the IFL's Official YouTube Page.

I think the Storm are going to win another United Bowl. I think also that the Rattlers will get to the United Bowl being the second team that made the United Bowl after leaving the AFL. I do hope for a Nebraska and/or Iowa upset though, as I'm really disappointed that the Nighthawks didn't make it in.
Kinda off topic but the NAL playoffs are coming up and I will be watching those along with the IFL playoffs. I haven't watched a NAL game all year but I think with the talent difference in that league, I'm glad I decided to wait until the playoffs.

Suffice to day, I think you are enthusiastic about the IFL now! I agree that it will probably be the Storm and Rattlers in the United Bowl. I would love to see an upset next week though.
