Josh McDaniels bails on Colts
My jaw dropped when I saw this news. IMO he was given the word that he will become the next HC of the Pats. I base this on 2 things:
1.) Why would you leave a guaranteed HC job and look like a jerk to everyone?
2.) Why would the Krafts and Belichick have an hours long conversation with McDaniels right before he leaves the facility?
I didn't think the hire would work anyway, so maybe the Colts lucked out (no pun intended). I am curious to see who ends up becoming the next HC of the Colts. I predicted Chiefs ST coach Dave Toub, and I'll stick with that prediction.
One More Thought:
-Matt Patricia is a meh hire by the Lions.
