The following are compilations of letters from a soldier to his dearest mother. That soldier's name: Captain Andrew Luck. Thanks to a very creative twitter user, an account has been created as a take off of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. The messages are framed as if Captain Luck is away at war, Civil War style, and corresponding with his mother with updates of his progress and "battles" he and his men are undertaking. The account, which was started in December 2015, is concentrated of late on Luck's return to the Colts after missing the better part of the past two seasons due to a shoulder injury. In cryptic style, the posts reference his "sidearm." We won't go into all of the tweets over the past two-and-a-half years, but will provide a sampling as Luck prepares his return. The account can be found on twitter: Capt. Andrew Luck. The following are the past several posts. They will be updated as "Captain Luck" adds his correspondence.

I've seen this account. This is extremely clever. I love the posts about asking his mother to pet the hogs, and that he had squirrel oil. I love this!
