I am here! Round 5 is now well underway, but here are my thoughts on a couple guys who I think are notable picks so far:
Pick No. 133 New England Patriots Jarett Stidham QB, Auburn
Quick thoughts: Is Stidham the successor to Tom Brady? I don't think so because the Patriots have drafted guys in the middle rounds before and they don't end up being the successor to Brady. However, at one point or another they do become starters and I think Stidham has the tools to become a NFL starter.
Pick No. 139 Arizona Cardinals Deionte Thompson S, Alabama
Quick thoughts: Thompson was a staple in the vaunted Alabama secondary, so the Cardinals are getting someone who I think can be starter and if not a really good depth player.

Pick No. 149 Las Vegas er.. Oakland Raiders Hunter Renfrow WR, Clemson
Quick thoughts: Jordy Nelson retired so the Raiders needed a good possession receiver and Renfrow will be exactly that. He has plenty of big game experience most notably the game winning TD catch in the National Title game a couple years ago. Great pick by the Raiders.

Pick No. 166 LA Chargers Easton Stick QB, North Dakota St
Quick thoughts: Stick was Wentz's successor at NDST and had plenty of success. Stick will be a quality backup and who knows maybe future starter for the Chargers.

Pick No. 178 Jacksonville Jaguars Gardner Minshew QB, Wazzu
Quick thoughts: Although Minshew's play fell off at the end of the season, he did play really well during most of the Cougars season and was viewed as a Heisman candidate. Looking back on it is kinda amazing that he has ended up a 6th round pick. He'll be a great backup and this continues what has been a great draft for the Jags.

Pick No. 197 Baltimore Ravens Trace McSorley QB, Penn State
Quick thoughts: McSorley was a great QB at Penn State and even though there was talk of him changing positions, I think being a backup to Lamar Jackson will be a good thing for the Ravens. Sneaky good pick by the Ravens.

I was really surprised he fell to the 6th. I'd have thought maybe the second round, maybe third.

Interesting; Miami takes two straight running backs in back to back picks in round 7.

Per Rich Eisen, there have been 40 trades, two more than the record for a draft. I'm not sure if that includes the trade just made between Seattle and Jacksonville which just occurred at No. 236.

With Caleb Wilson of UCLA becoming the 2019 Mr. Irrelevant the 2019 NFL Draft is over. I've had a lot of fun. Julie I want to thank you for everything that you have done to make this year's SCtoC coverage awesome. Without ya it certainly would not have been as good as it turned out to be. As a side note: Go Stars!

The 2019 NFL Draft is in the books. Huge kudos to the city of Nashville for hosting what turned out to be an incredible event. From everything I saw, they did an outstanding job. It would not surprise me if they are awarded the Draft again in the future.
My special thanks to spiderfan for joining me to comment on all of the first round selections, as well as several in the ensuing rounds.
Thank you to all the readers out there for checking us out. It was a fun weekend.
Finally, good luck to all 254 of those players who heard their names called over the past three days. We look forward to seeing you on the field!

You guys did great! Loved the analysis. Sadly, however, no Cal players were taken this year.
