Jeff Branch is a 6'3", 225-lb linebacker who is in his second season in the sport of indoor football. He earned Second Team All-CIF honors last season as a member of Champions Indoor Football. He accounted for 113 total tackles in a two-year career at Presentation College (South Dakota). During his senior season at Presentation, he had 63 total tackles, 15 sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss and six forced fumbles. He was named to the North Star Athletic Association All-Conference First Team, as well as the American Football Coaches Association All-American Defense First Team. He hails from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Here are Branch's answers to our questions:
1. What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in football so far?
Making it to the IFL and continuing to get better at my game.
2. What were your first impressions of the prospect of playing indoor football?
I was excited because I know how competitive this game is.
3. What was it that made you want to come and try out for the team?
The ability to improve and compete for a championship.
4. Who has inspired you most in your football career and in life?
My parents.
5. What is your biggest long-term goal for your football career?
Dominating the NFL and taking care of my family.
6. What would you like to accomplish this season?
Improving as a payer and winning the championship.
7. What are you looking forward to most about the upcoming season?
Going to war with my teammates.
8. Please describe how important your family has been to you during your football journey?
Very important. I wouldn't be where I am without them.
9. What is at the heart of your desire to continue your football career?
Accomplish my dreams of making it to the NFL.
10. What would you like IFL fans to know about you?
That I'm going to grind hard and give 120 percent every game.
