I know that this news was a big surprise to me, so knowing the various Stanford alumni that are on the board what are y'all's thoughts on this?

I know that this news was a big surprise to me, so knowing the various Stanford alumni that are on the board what are y'all's thoughts on this? I saw the post you made, but I had to google it. This is the shock around the NFL this season. You're right, these two girls are going to care. I guarantee both are going to be upset.

I'm shocked and really sad. I'm very analytical, but I need some time to absorb this.

I think had this happened a year ago, I would have been much less surprised. After the season he had in 2018, I really thought he was back on track. I can see how injuries can wear someone down both mentally and physically. Andrew is extremely intelligent and I think his priorities in life have changed. He recently got married and I think he would like to move on to the next chapter in his life.
All that being said, I remember Kasey and I going to every home game those first two years and watching him play. He was like a surgeon on the field. He was amazing to watch guide Stanford's offense and bringing the Card into prominence. Watching those games was an event for the two of us, and the rest of the Stanford fans. We really bonded and got to know each other through watching Andrew and the team. It's just sad to see that his career has to end now.

I don't want to play the blame game, but I can't help but feel like the Colts really didn't do Andrew any favors. He was behind some terrible offensive lines during his time there. And as much as the NFL's straying away from a running game, there were time I'd watch and felt like they relied too much on the passing game... which, could have been a factor of they couldn't run very well with their offensive line.
Anyway. I feel like they could have invested in giving their prize investment more protection but they didn't and as a result, he broke down.
But this is my opinion. It's a shame he had to call it a career so soon, but I think the Colts are partially to blame.
