BuzzFeed Sports has included Portland's Providence Park as one of the 21 soccer stadiums you should watch a game in before you die. Providence Park is the only U.S. stadium on the list and it comes in at number 16.
Here's what they say about Providence Park (followed by the accompanying photos):
Year Opened: 1926 Capacity: 20,438 Tenants: Portland Timbers Why you should visit: Even though soccer isn’t immensely popular in the United States, you wouldn’t know that after seeing a Timbers home game.
Once you find that in life that is important, the rest is life's gravy.
