Sorry, I know this was yesterday, lol, but with Mariota throwing his first interception last night, how much do you wanna bet that he is now out of the running for the Heisman? I know it's only one, and I know we still won the game, but it's still the fact that he plays in the PAC-12 (a non-USC PAC-12 team at that), and not in the beloved SEC. He has to be better than perfect to overcome the blantant SEC and east coast bias. Also, hey everyone! Long time no talk! I do not think one interception wil take him out of the Heisman running. Most of the other QB candidates have more. If he starts throwing a bunch of them, then it could, but not yet.

Heisman never give west coast players their due unless they play in L.A.

If he was, he would be a clear #1. We all know about the bias for the SEC and the east coast.

Hogan's pass was behind Ty on that one. He really has not gotten better.

Hey Brian. Heisman never give west coast players their due unless they play in L.A. My thoughts EXACTLY! We had a Heisman runner up three years in a row. Luck should have won it at least over Griffin.

Just when I say that about Oregon St., Stanford stops them on 4th down. Oh well!

I do not think he is not still the clear number one. Whether he wins will depend on how Oregon looks when the voters vote. In other news, shortly after this game, we will be posting all the season previews for the Blazers upcoming season, so check them out!
