I don't like the prevent defense Stanford is running.

Touchdown ASU. Long TD catch. That is the second ASU TD in a span of four minutes.
Stanford 39, ASU 21, 10:55 left in the 4th quarter.

Stanford needs a long drive here to take time off the clock.

That's the kind of rush they need. Party in the backfield.

Stanford's defense is giving up way too much right now.

Targeting call on Ed Reynolds. Personal Foul on a hit to the quarterback. I do not even think it was a personal foul. Reynolds is ejected from this game and for the first half of next week's game. Stanford should have reviewed it but they did not.

Hey Brian you have been promoted to bench warmer (50 posts!). So that's what that means. I'd like to give credit to my four younger sisters!

the first half was flawless, right down to the safety at the end of the half. ASU looked good in the second half and came out fighting. fortunately i don't say this much, but i was really disappointed in Stanford's defense for most of the second half. they got overconfident with the big lead and Coach Mason strayed away from what was working. Brian, Angi, you were right; he went to a prevent defense which allowed ASU to score at least three of it's touchdowns. i just heard Tyler Gaffney ran for 87 yards. it didn't seem like that many, but i like that he's giving us a solid running attack. That was one of my biggest concerns coming into the season. Brian is right; he gets better as the game goes along. it's been great to see Ty Montgomery play a major role in the offense. i was hoping to see some of that last year, but i guess it was just a matter of time. also, Devon Cajuste; he's turning into a nice thread at WE. in all, a win is a win and i'll take it. i just hope we can clean up the mistakes and the lax second-half play.

also wanted to say that the stands were electric tonight. it was cool to see all the freshmen in the stands who were attending their first Stanford game. reminded me of me three years ago when i saw my first game, against Wake Forest, my freshman hear. on the other hand, there were some missing faces from former students who graduated. however, i swear i saw some of them in the alumni section!

This was a great game. Only thing is Shaw putting in Crower so early. Hogan probably should have stayed in until 10 minutes left. Always good to pick up the win.
