Since there isn't technically a Baseball/Softball section on the forum, I figured I'd share this due to its Portland-related connection.
I'm not sure how many of you follow the MiLB's Northwest League or their Oregon based teams (Eugene, Salem-Keizer, and Hillsboro), but the Eugene Emeralds announced that they will wear Portlandia themed uniforms against the Spokane Indians on August 27.
The team announced the promotion on their Facebook page:
On August 27th, the Ems will be honoring our "Weird" neighbors to the North with Portlandia Night! The players will be wearing specialty flannel jerseys and skinny jean pants in honor of Portlandia's weirdness, with fans being given the opportunity to win these jerseys during our silent auction. Let's keep it weird!

For those that don't watch Portlandia, the jerseys are a reference to a skit known as Raw Denim.
The Emeralds have been having fun promoting the jerseys on Twitter to promote the event.
What do you guys think of the promotion? Do you like the "weird" jerseys?
