Hey guys, just checking. So far, the product on the field isn't that much different from the AFL in terms of play quality. Definitely different with defenses that can freely move and running the ball, but it's not an inferior quality of football as many on ArenaFan claim.
The game program did have a page on terminology of the IFL game that's different from AFL. I'll post that later.
Kickoffs are interesting. Since kicking into the crowd puts the ball at the 20 yard line, there are more squib kicks.
I have game pics, which I'll post later because the reception in the Arena stinks. Attendance wise, it's below what it was for the AFL but still respectable. I suspect between 6000-7000.

There are some very snobby people over at ArenaFan who will always claim that the AFL is better. I am enjoying the IFL. It is awesome that Trevor Kennedy liked our tweet. He is having a pretty decent game. Of course, we all know that everyone wants to see a rouge! That is probably pretty decent when it comes to the IFL as far as attendance is concerned. |

The Empire radio announcers are awesome except the play by play guy keeps calling them the Shock! |

Dowdell is intercepted by Deante Purvis. Called back due to a penalty. That is four combined interceptions called back in this game by both teams.
