It seems too early to have gone for two. I think Shackleford wanted to try and get those two missed extra points back. I understand why, but I agree. It's a bit early.

Spokane played all right. I hope they can put it away in the third quarter.

Interesting to note the 30 yard rush by Rob Brown was credited in the IFL stats to Pat McCain. Hopefully that gets fixed.

I wonder if it's the same intern that misspelled Austen Alber's name on the Team Roster page (They spelled it Austin..yet when you click on his name, it shows a picture with the correct spelling of his name!)

I just want to say the Empire media and Larry Weir are awesome. They are definitely friends of this site. They are liking and retweeting our links for the Empire left and right. Next week, we will promote the thread by not requiring people so sign in to comment. More Empire fans need to be a part of this!
But huge props to both the Empire media and Mr. Weir for supporting us!

Oh that's what that was? Makes sense. I wasn't sure; I did tweet him and tell him good job for filling in the airtime during that 25-minute halftime.

Tri-Cities is climbing back into it. That's their M.O. this year; offense struggles, defense makes big plays, gives offense opportunities to come back.
Empire offense needs to get going on this next drive.
