That was so cool! I'm really impressed with his call of the game. I loved when the analyst asked him if random girls just follow him on twitter! That's so cool! Awesome. He threw out a shout out to Suzanne from Australia so I tweeted him, then he gave us a shout out. I am very impressed! |

Does the league have a contract with an apparel company or is it up to each team to arrange to buy their own jerseys? Teams have to buy their own jerseys. I know for a fact the Empire and the Barnstormers maintained their Russell contracts after dropping down from AFL. I'm not sure who does Billings's jerseys. the league should pursue a uniform contract. that would be the best way to control that league-wide. |

This has been a fun game. Really though, aren't they all fun when the Empire win! Special thanks to David for setting up a terrific game thread. I always keep up two screens, one on page one and one on the current page. Throughout the games, I am constantly referencing page one. Thank you David for making that possible. Huge thanks to Kasey , DiamondThief and Yeseeka for being here and keeping the conversation going. Big thanks to Larry Weir and Dennis Patchin for a great radio call which allowed us all to keep up with the game. I can't think of anyone I remember doing a better game call. Larry Weir in particular has helped make me even more of an Empire fan. I've checked the schedule for the Empire next week. The graduation ceremony for Jessica and I are next Saturday, so I don't think we will be able to be here. I also know that Angi and the rest of the family will be coming down to Berkeley. Jessica, Angi and Kasey's oldest brother is hosting a party for us in San Francisco that night. If I have a chance, I will check in. This has been an amazing season for the Empire and it's a ride I am enjoying! you forgot one, Heidi. thanks to YOU for taking over the scoring updates in these threads. you've done an amazing job and i appreciate how on top of this you are! |

Out of curiosity, I took a look to see what the other teams have in terms of Uniform Suppliers. Cedar Rapids - Russell Athletic Colorado - Nike Green Bay - Under Armour Iowa - Russell Athletic Nebraska - Under Armour Sioux Falls - Under Armour Spokane - Russell Athletic Tri-Cities - Under Armour Wichita Falls had something called "PE" that I had no idea. I have seen "PE" on some pictures of the Wolves, so I did some digging. Turns out it is Phenom Elite, the supplier of the Glove Tweets we've been seeing with the Empire. Funny thing is Wichita Falls uniforms don't look as cheap. Billings has screen printed while WF's are sewn on numbers. I'm guessing budget? Either way, that's what I dug up. Personally I prefer Russell Athletic designs... Under Armour's looks too plain and similar (example: look at the AFL right now. Awful unis outside of Jacksonville & Portland). But I hear you. It'd be nice if the IFL had a uniform supplier for all the teams. |
