touchdownnnn Steel. Though looked like they got the call right to me where he was down before the ball came out.

Purify fumbled, but they say he was down at the 1 yard line. Dexter Davis returned it 53 yards for what would be a TD. Ron James is challenging the play that Purify was down by contact.

The Rattlers turn it over on downs. Steel will have the ball at their own 2.

Non-AFL related, but Sioux Falls defeated Iowa 53-30 in IFL action tonight.
Regardless of how next Saturday's game goes, Sioux Falls will have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Unless they get beat in the United Conference Championship, Spokane (should they make it) will have to play in SF.

the Steel need to treat the rest of this game as a practice of sorts. work on some things and fine tune some things going into next week's game.

As for the game tonight: Austin's stats are great, but the Steel's defense has to figure out how to defend. It's been their Achilles heel all season.

another onside kick try. not sure why James keeps calling for that. I saw on Twitter he went for 4 consecutive. I guess I can understand why, since the Steel's defense isn't up to snuff. He figures they have a better chance to win by onside kicking than to trust the defense in holding Arizona. I understand that. It does not mean I like that decision. If you don't trust your defense, why give the Rattlers good field position by onside kicking that frequently?
