Dowdell made some questionable throws on the most recent drive. Who throws a dump off pass on a free play?

Crazy play. After recovering the onside kick, Austin completes a long TD pass (to Perry I think? Second play of drive right after Austin had a long scramble TD call back due to a holding call on the OL.) After an offensive pass interference call on CLE helped create a 4th and about 9 for CLE on ensuing drive. On 4th down play CLE QB Nelson scrambled for what looked like a first down, but then official ruled it a fumble recovered by POR, but some penalty on POR overturned it and gave CLE another chance to convert which they did. 4th down again for Cleveland now though. It was Perry. This is the type of play which happens in the AFL. |
