Welcome to SCtoC's presentation of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
We're in the Semifinals with the Youngstown St. Penguins visiting the Eastern Washington Eagles. The game will be televised, and we have provided links to the audio streaming broadcasts for both teams. There also is a link in the preview to stream the game on ESPN3.
SCtoC will cover Eastern Washington throughout the playoffs. We also will feature previews and game threads for the respective bowl games coming up involving the Stanford Cardinal and Boise St. Broncos.

The Bears are 11-3 and finished 6-2 (third) in the Missouri Valley Conference. They are coming off a 30-23 double-overtime win over the Wofford Terriers in the Quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs on Dec. 10.

The Eagles are 21-1 overall and finished 8-0 (first) in the Big Sky Conference. They are coming off a 31-14 home win over the Central Arkansas Bears in the second round of the FCS playoffs on Dec. 3.

Youngstown St.'s Jody Webb rushed for 213 yards in the quarterfinal game against Wofford. The Penguins have four national championships at the NCAA Division I-AA/FCS level to their credit. Eastern Washington WR Cooper Kupp is the all-time FCS leader in receiving yards. Eastern Washington University and head coach Beau Baldwin have recently agreed on a five-year contract extension. The temperature for this game, as of forecasts on Dec. 11, are predicted to be a high of 4 degrees and a low of minus-7 degrees.

In the other FCS Semifinal, the North Dakota St. Bison are looking to earn their sixth straight FCS championship as they host the James Madison Dukes at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota on Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. (PST) The game will be televised on ESPN2. Both the Bison and the Dukes stand at 12-1 on the season heading into the game.
