It is really the playoff format which needs to change. It really is a shame that the championship was determined by a coin toss. You are completely correct in that. The college playoff format would be better than what they have now, but I do not advocate that. There are a lot of various formats which would actually be fair. Everyone seems to want to call Brady the best. I am not sure. When you look at different eras of the NFL and some of the teams 60, 70 and 80 years ago, they hardly passed the ball. A lot of that is like comparing apples to oranges, and it just cannot be fairly compared.

The question then becomes what happens if you put Baugh into today's NFL and Brady into the NFL of the past? There is no way to know. Therefore you have to look at QBs by era. |
