Empire had 3 players go in motion and get penalized for it. While it's legal in the CFL to have 3 receivers in motion, you can only have two motion men in the IFL.
Somebody didn't communicate something there. Bad penalty.

What is odd is that IMO Wilmer played his best football when he first came off the bench for Dowdell against the Crush. Ever since then he has not played well.

Empire defense stands tall. Now the offense needs to wake up. Last game and now early this game the Empire have really shown they can play defense. It's a shame that the offense is pathetic, cause if it wasn't the Empire would be a scary team. As a Texans fan I know what that is like and it's not fun.

The problem with taking Wilmer out is that McDade has been on the roster for a week according to the announcers. As bad as Wilmer is playing, McDade might be a deer in the headlights.

The problem with taking Wilmer out is that McDade has been on the roster for a week according to the announcers. As bad as Wilmer is playing, McDade might be a deer in the headlights. McDade was signed prior to the Colorado game. Technically two full weeks.
