My computer died and forgot my charger 😳 press release will be up ASAP! This week has been a comedy of errors on this site. Heidi lost her entire analysis of the Screaming Eagles when she went to save it, and I lost some text when I was working on the Crush preview. Looking forward to the recap. I don't suppose you heard Troy Coverdale's closing of the broadcast. Please check it out when you have a chance. Absolutely amazing. Very Vin Scully like, but with a slam to Project FANchise by not even mentioning their name.

Can you blame them? I can't. I totally am in their corner. FANchise had such promise and they just neglected the product. It's disgraceful and (I think) an insult to Tom Wigley and the money and effort he put into the team. Angi, if you can transcribe it... that'd be perfect. I was going to record it, but a transcription might have a better effect. FANchise, in my opinion, never intended to leave a long-term impression on the IFL. I believe they used the IFL for promotion to take this next step. Their league will fail. I am sure of that. It is very much an insult to Tom Wigley. He struggled to keep the team alive, but he did it. I feel bad for he and his family who watched this happen. I am praying that a new owner is found. I will do something about Troy's comments this weekend. Not sure what yet, but that was just too good to not put out there. If you need a way to have the video of Troy's comments saved, I know just so ya know.

I am recording it, and listening to it, for the third time.

I am just going to throw this out there. Miles Bergner was 3/3 on his extras points, and 5/5 on his field goals. In his four games with the Crush, he is 12/14 on his field goals and 10/10 on his extra points. Anyone needing a kicker needs to jump at the chance to sign this guy!

My computer died and forgot my charger 😳 press release will be up ASAP! So Drew if the Crush fold will you still be on SCtoC? I would love to still be a part of SCtoC! It was fun to do some sports writing again and I'm currently job hunting so it's good practice as well. Plus I enjoyed spending time with all you fine people!

Whether that would be with a rescued Crush team or in another capacity, we would definitely want him to continue working with us.

I just listened to it, and I had the same feelings, as I have been in his shoes before (although not quite as many years with the same team) but I've broadcasted franchises with questionable ownership. One of my previous teams have gone through 3 owners in 3 years, and it's extremely frustrating. For the players, fans, staff members. I agreed 100% with everything he had to say, and yes, it definitely made me emotional.

I've been hitting some rough times since I got back to Colorado in terms of finding a job within the sports industry or otherwise, and I won't lie, I've questioned my career choice more than once since I came home. But it makes me feel very good that you all enjoyed my post games and I truly do appreciate the compliments. You all are awesome!

I will be back as well. Look forward to see what you do with college coverage. Troy and I certainly have a great time together and covering the Crush has been so fun with him. While he has been there for awhile, my 3 years there have been awesome. Our time together in the IFL was short, but it lives on covering college football together. Thanks for all the kind words that you guys always have for Troy and I. We truly appreciate it.

Thanks for all the kind words that you guys always have for Troy and I. We truly appreciate it. Despite the major questions involving the Crush's future, I personally feel our coverage has been successful. Not only did we add another team and grow the site, we have made some new and amazing friends. Trust me, I will make sure that we will find avenues where you, Troy and Drew can continue to enhance this site and bring more exposure to the teams we are covering, including the new teams we will be covering. Just a couple things I want to say about tonight's broadcast. 1) You and Troy were AWESOME! 2) I really respect the props you both gave to Larry Weir. Mad respect for that. Easily the two best teams' broadcasting efforts in the IFL. 3) Troy's sign off tonight. Extremely powerful. And, 4) The shout outs to this site. You had a little fun with our listening dilemma, and that was great! We even had one of our main game thread contributors take the night off, but she was still listening to both of the broadcasts at the same time! Kasey will touch on this a little further down the road, but for us here, this has been a tremendous year covering these teams and this quirky sport!
