Week 4 of the NFL season is over so it is time for me to give my thoughts... and stuff.
Trubisky?
Mike Glennon stinks like a skunk. It is time for Trubisky to start for the Bears. Glennon looks to be one of the biggest free agent busts ever doesn't surprise me
Parity strikes again!
The Texans beat the Titans, the Bills beat the Falcons, the Panthers beat the Pats, the Rams beat the Cowboys, and the Jets are on a 2 game win streak. I don't believe it.
About that Panthers-Pats game
The reports of Cam Newton's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Brady is now playing the role of Drew Bress (in recent years), in that his defense is terrible (literally 32nd in the league) and yet he puts up fantastic numbers despite his age. The next few games will show how the Pats season will go IMO.
Sunday Night in Seattle
So the Colts played pretty good in the first half and even took the lead! The Seahawks offense wasn't that great and the defense looked to be slowing down! Then the Seahawks outscored the Colts 36-3 in the second half. The Colts are still bad and the Seahawks are still good. This kind of game usually happens in college ball, not the NFL but last night it did.
Other random notes:
-What happened to the Ravens? First couple weeks they looked good and now they are playing like garbage. Joe Flacco does not appear to be elite.
-The Browns are awful and the Bengals appear to finally be in a groove.
-The Texans are here
-The 49ers are still the worst team in football, despite REALLY trying to win.
-The Vikings have bad luck.
-The Chargers are coming apart at the seams. Rivers is angry at the sidelines all the time and they can't even win if they play good football, let alone bad football. Rivers should retire IMO.
-The Giants are worse than the Jets and it doesn't look like it is going to get any easier for them in the coming weeks.
-Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota got hurt in the same week again. Weird.
-The Cowboys are good. Don't overreact... yet.
-The Chiefs win MNF.
ROAD TO 0-16
4 teams currently do not have a win. I will do this segment until every team in the NFL has a win.
Teams that currently don't have a win:
NY Giants
LA Chargers
San Francisco 49ers
Cleveland Browns
Interestingly enough the Giants and Chargers are playing each other this week. This is interesting not only because of one of the teams will 0-5, but also that the Rivers and Manning were part of the famous 04 draft class of QBs. Teams most likely to 0-16 IMO are the 49ers and Browns.
ROAD TO 16-0
1 team currently does not have a loss. I will do this segment until every team in the NFL has a loss.
Team that currently doesn't have a loss:
Kansas City Chiefs.
When I started doing this segment I had no idea that the undefeateds would not last. However, the Chiefs deserve the best record in football as IMO they are currently the best team in football. Kareem Hunt, Alex Smith, Tyreek Hill, and the defense are fantastic and the Chiefs have to be SB favorites at this point in time. Will they go 16-0? I don't know.
That is all for this week's Random Thoughts & Stuff, as always I hope ya enjoyed! This is spiderfan out.
