Weeeeeeeek 10 is done, so it is time to have fun... with my random thoughts and stuff. Let us begin!
The Steelers are not contenders
This is going to be considered a hot take, but it is true. The Steelers IMO are not contenders. It has been a while since I have seen a team willingly want to lose a game and then win anyway because the other team is just that bad. It happened on Sunday with the Steelers, which leads me to believe that they will struggle against real contenders.
Case Keenum should be a starting NFL QB
I know I have said this multiple times this season, but it is true (notice a trend here?). Case Keenum has played well enough this season to be the starting QB of the Vikings and then get a new contract with either the Vikings or another team to become a NFL starter. If he is benched for Bridgewater, it will be because management wants to see if they should give him a new contract. Non-football related decisions like that don't end well.
Poor Browns
So Deshone Kizer plays his best game of the year against a good Lions team on the road
Anybody else feel bad for the Browns and their fanbase? Cause I sure as heck do.
The New York Football Tinys are tiny and miniature
When I think of the Tinys this clip from Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law comes to mind:
Every week they keep getting tinier and tinier. This week they hit a new low by losing to the previously 0-9ers and giving Kyle Shanahan his first win as an NFL head coach. The Tinys are also not wanting to fire their GM Jerry Reese or HC Ben McAdoo because apparently they don't do things that way. The Tinys are officially tanking. Hear me out on why I say this.
Last year the Jaguars kept their then HC Gus Bradley WAY longer then they should have. I theorize that this is because had they fired him and replaced with then Assistant HC Doug Marrone earlier in the year, that would have led to more wins affecting the status of their draft pick. The year before that the Lions kept Jim Caldwell because they had fired too many people and they feared that team continuity would be messed up. The Lions then went 6-2 and went from being in good position to have the number 1 pick, to a mediocre season at 7-9.
Who would have thought before the season that the Jets wouldn't be the one tanking? Truth is stranger than fiction folks.
Them Cowboys are in trouble
What happens when Zeke Elliott, Sean Lee, and Tyron Smith don't play for the Cowboys? A blowout loss of course! Not only that but they will all miss more games, leading to more blowout losses! How bout them Cowboys
Other thoughts:
-I watched NFL Redzone for the first time this week and it was awesome. I recommend it.
-Ryan Fitzpatrick got his revenge against the Jets. What a bizzare turn of events.
-It was fun while it lasted Jets. Enjoy losing!
-The Bears got robbed just like the Jets did earlier this year. Why must you call touchbacks on touchdowns refs?
-The Broncos are still a lolcow.
-The Texans still suck. I embrace the tank!
-The Rams are the best team in the NFC.
-The Jaguars won a game with Blake Bortles passing the football? Only against the Chargers.
-The Bills aren't in good shape but the Saints sure are.
-If you haven't already here are my midseason awards
-The Panthers win MNF. Calling it.
THE ROAD TO 0-16
Team that currently doen't have a win. I will do this segment until every team has a win.
Team that currently doesn't have a win:
Cleveland Browns
Make no mistake about it the Tinys are the worst team in football, however because they had the luxury of going up against the Denver Lolcows they escaped this segment. The Browns IMO will not go 0-16 and it is only a matter of time before they win. If you have any ideas for segments leave them down below.
I thank you all for reading and I shall return for my random thoughts and stuff on Week 11. Feel free to leave your thoughts down below! This is spiderfan out.
