Note(s): Portland St.'s winless season comes as a surprise to almost everyone. This is the Vikings season finale and it's a season the team and its fans would like to forget. Freshman quarterback Davis Alexander will likely get his third start of the season. Alexander went 24 of 44 for 370 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' loss to Weber St. on Nov. 11. Eastern Washington could very well punch their ticket to the post-season with a win. Eagles' running back Sam McPherson provided a diverse performance in the win over North Dakota on Nov. 11. He rushed 8 times for 118 yards, caught 3 passes for 37 yards with a touchdown, and even tossed a 2-yard touchdown. The Eagles defeated the Vikings in last year's regular season finale, 35-28.

Head Coaches (overall records): Rich Rodriquez (119-116-2). Ducks - Willie Taggart (60-74).
Note(s): Arizona has won five of their last six, only losing to USC in week 10, and nearly succumbing to Cal in double-overtime in week 8. Freshman quarterback Khalil Tate is beginning to get some national attention, and is even being mentioned in the race for the Heisman trophy. He leads the nation in rushing yards per carry with 11.6, and has rushed for 11 touchdowns this season. Oregon's plan is for Justin Herbert to return for his first start in nearly two months. The Ducks have lost four of five games since he has been sidelined due to injury. The Ducks are knocking on the door to a bowl bid. A win over the Wildcats, or Oregon St. next weekend, would do the trick. Oregon running back Royce Freeman is 11th in the BCS with 1,218 rushing yards.

California Golden Bears at Stanford Cardinal
What: It is the 120th version of the Big Game between the North Bay and the South Bay.

Where: Stanford Stadium; Palo Alto, California.

2016 Records: Bears 5-7 (3-6 Pac-12 North). Cardinal 10-3 (6-3 Pac-12 North).
Previous: Bears def Oregon St. 37-23. Cardinal def. Washington 30-22.
Head Coaches (overall records): Bears - Justin Wilcox (5-5). Cardinal - David Shaw (69-20).
Note(s): Cal has been a bit a surprise this season. Despite their 2-5 record in the parity ridden Pac-12, they swept their non-conference schedule and stand on the precipice of making it to a bowl game in Justin Wilcox's first season at the helm. The Bears took Arizona to the brink, forcing a second overtime. The Bears pulled to within 45-44 in the second overtime with a chance to tie or win. Wilcox went for the win, but quarterback Ross Bowers' pass was incomplete. Perhaps surprisingly, Stanford has a very realistic opportunity to win the Pac-12 North. Thanks to their win over Washington, the Cardinal can win the division with a win over the Golden Bears. and a Washington win in the Apple Cup Despite missing a game-and-a-half to an ankle injury, Stanford running back Bryce Love leads the FBS in rushing yards with 1,622. He also leads all running backs at 9.0 yards per carry, and has rushed for 15 touchdowns. In their history, Stanford leads 62-46-11, though Stanford would state they have another win, due to possibly college football's biggest play. This happened in 1981 with the Cardinal ahead and Cal running a play and headed for the end zone. The video shows below. Cal fans feel they won and Cardinal fans claim they did. It came down to the last play of the game, a return in which the Cal player was running with the ball when several laterals took place. Officially, it is considered a Cal win, but according to Stanford, a number of Cal players were down during the return, which would give them the win. It is a point of contention among the four graduated (two and two, respectively) on this site who honor their alma maters and each insist their team won that game. In 1892 Stanford won the first meeting of the series, 14-10, in a game which was partially organized by a Stanford undergraduate student named Herbert Hoover, who would go on to be elected president of the United States in 1928. The Cardinal have won the past seven meetings.

The Broncos found themselves down by two touchdowns with three minutes left before Rypien drove the team down the field twice, tossing touchdown passes to Sean Modster and Jake Roh. Alexander Mattison's 4-yard run in overtime gave Boise St. the win. Air Force defeated Boise St. 27-20 in last season's match up.
