The following is a listing of the playoff schedule & results for the 2017-18 Portland Winterhawks. Portland finished the 2017-18 regular season with a 44-22-1-5 record, which ranked 2nd in the U.S. Division and 2nd overall in the Western Conference.
The Winterhawks look to return to the WHL Championship for the first time since the 2013-14 Season. That season, the Winterhawks made their fourth consecutive WHL Championship appearance. During that four year run, the Winterhawks lost 3 of 4 Championship series against the Kootenay ICE and the Edmonton Oil Kings twice. Their lone WHL Championship during the run came in 2012-13, when the Winterhawks defeated the Oil Kings 4 games to 2.
