Hey everybody it is me spiderfan here! Due to technical difficulties I won't be doing my traditional column this week. Hopefully next week, things will be good. Let us begin!
Rapid Fire Thoughts:
-Falcons OC Steve Sarkisian isn't good at his job. The Eagles dodged a bullet.
-The Dolphins managed to win against the Titans, but I'm curious to see how many more games they win.
-The Colts still aren't good. Like I predicted.
-Fitzmagic is a real thing. Like I predicted.
-The Texans didn't look good and yet still managed to only lose by 7. Good things appear to be coming.
-Kirk Cousins and the Vikings the 49ers. I wouldn't have predicted that.
-The New York Giants had a valiant effort against the Sacksonville Jaguars... but they still shrunk.
-The Browns ended their losing streak. They still haven't won in over a year. BTW The Steelers had a pretty awful game, and we should stick a fork in Big Ben because he appears to be done. #hottake
-Sean McDermott should get fired, on the basis that he has repeatedly shoved Nate Peterman down Bill's fans throats.
-The Ravens are either really good or the Bills are awful.
-Pat Mahomes is the truth. Like I predicted.
-The Dallas Cowboys are the now the Dallas Ostriches. You know you are sticking your head in the sand, when you call the arguable greatest QB in the history of your franchise an "armchair QB".
-Norv Turner isn't as bad as I thought he would be.
-The Broncos and Seahawks played a tight game, and I think both teams will play better than they did.
-Congrats to Adrian Peterson on getting his 100th career rushing touchdown.
-Aaron Rodgers is amazing. Matt Nagy isn't.
-Sam Darnold is still overrated. Matt Patricia will be one and done as an NFL head coach, book it. #hottakes
-The Raiders miss Khalil Mack, but it is clear that the Raiders are rebuilding. The Rams are obviously still SB contenders.
ROAD TO 0-16
15 teams have started out the season with a loss. I will keep doing this segment until every team doesn't have a loss. Because the Browns and Steelers tied neither of them count for this segment for the rest of the year.
Teams that lost this week:
Buffalo Bills
Las Vegas.. er Oakland Raiders
Los Angeles (not San Diego, people still forget that) Chargers
Houston Texans
Tennessee Titans
Indianapolis Colts
New York Football Giants
Dallas Ostriches
San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals
Detroit Lions
Chicago Bears
Atlanta Falcons
New Orleans Saints
Being that this is Week 1 the list of 0-and teams will decrease. IMO the teams most likely to go 0-16 are the Bills, Colts, Ostriches, (formerly known as Cowboys), and the Lions.
ROAD TO 16-0
15 teams have started out the season with a win. I will keep doing this segment until every team has a loss or tie. Steelers and Browns are not eligible for this segment either due to their aforementioned tie.
Teams that won this week:
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Kansas City Chiefs
Denver Broncos
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Sacksonville Jaguars
Washington Redskins
Philadelphia Eagles
Los Angeles Rams
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Carolina Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Being that this is Week 1 the amount of undefeated teams will decrease. IMO the teams most likely to 16-0 are the Rams, Patriots, Chiefs, and Jaguars.
I'm not fully confident in either segment unlike last year, so we shall see what happens.
With that this version of Random Thoughts & Stuff is done. I hope ya enjoyed. This is spiderfan out.
