Overview
The following is the 2020 schedule for the Green Bay Blizzard.
The Blizzard are coming off their best season since 2012. They finished last year with a mark of 9-5 and earned a home playoffs game. The Cinderella story was short-lived as they were defeated in the First Round by the Nebraska Danger, 45-40. Still, the turnaround from their 2018 record of 2-12 has the Blizzard on the upswing. Head Coach Corey Roberson earned IFL Coach of the Year honors for the turnaround; he will strive to build on last season's success and advance the team to the United Bowl.
Green Bay has a pair of bye weeks to start the season. The Blizzard kick off their season on March 22nd at home against the expansion Frisco Fighters, then meet up with the Quad City Steamwheelers in Week 4. The Blizzard have two two-game homestands during the season, as well as a pair of two-game road trips. They close out their season on June 27th with a visit to Cedar Rapids to meet the River Kings. They do not face the Arizona Rattlers, Duke City Gladiators, San Diego Strike Force or Spokane Shock in 2020.
Each IFL team plays 14 games (seven home and seven away), and has three bye weeks. The Blizzard have byes in Weeks 1, 2 and 12. They play their home games at Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Cory Roberson is the team's head coach.
All Blizzard games will be broadcast locally on the radio and will be available for streaming through those stations. SCtoC will provide links in its previews of the games, as well as recaps of each IFL game. Broadcast information for each game is forthcoming and will be updated on this page when available.
Below is the Blizzard's 2020 schedule. Home games are noted in bold green. Times and dates are subject to change. All times are pacific. Click on the final score for the boxscore and Recap for SCtoC's original recap of this game.
