The Massachusetts Pirates recent move to the Indoor Football League figures too bring the new to a new competing level. The franchise, a recent member of the National Arena League, has been highly entertaining and enthusiastic during its short time period. The management and supporting staff provide a foundation for the team that is sound enough too maintain a solid existence for many years too come. There are many observers of the league that see this move as a way for the league to return to the East, remember at one time it called Richmond Virginia it’s head quarters. There has been a lot of interest in the East and the league will need too continue too make moves here if it wants too truly nationalize its image. The Pirates want to fit into the existing framework and along with their expansion brothers in Columbus they are doing what they need too do too accomplish this. What is next for the Indoor Football League is unknown, but if it keeps adding quality teams like Massachusetts it is going to build a strong entity that all of the indoor football world can be prod of.
