Breakdown
BUCKS
Bismarck is back on track after their 64-28 loss at home to the Storm on June 5. With a pair of blowout wins over the Iowa Barnstormers an the Green Bay Blizzard, the Bucks outscored their opponents, 103-51. The will look to keep the momentum going as they take on the defending champions and look to get some revenge for that loss three weeks ago. Richard Stammetti stepped back in at quarterback two weeks ago against the Barnstormers. He had a strong game last week in the win over the Blizzard with 152 yards and six touchdowns through the air. He also rushed three times for 28 yards. Justin Rankin is averaging 37.5 yards per game on the ground with five scores. J.T. Stokes, Raheem Harvey and Mike Carrigan are a strong receiving group which have a combined 24 touchdown catches between them. Deion Carter leads the team with 36 tackles and has eight pass break ups. Derreon Jackson comes in with 34 tackles and Zuril Hendrick's 14 pass break ups lead the defense.
STORM
Sioux Falls has had the opposite fate as that of the Bucks since taking the field against them on June 5. After an 19-point loss to the Spokane Shock and a 10-point loss to the Barnstormers, the Storm want to get back into the win column. The Storm have never been at .500 or lower through six games in their current IFL history. They've only had two losses in that span; in 2013 and 2018. Over the past couple of games, Lorenzo Brown, Jr. and Tommy Armstrong, Jr. have split time at quarterback. Both are capable passers who can also do damage on the ground. Look for Kurtis Riggs to utilize both players at the position once again, though if one starts quickly, Riggs could remain with the hot hand. Nate Chavious is a solid lead back who can make a difference in the ground game, while Brandon Sheperd is the stalwart at receiver. Damian Ford and Jordan Smith also will get some targets. Trey Wafford and Marquis Hendrix have 43 and 42 tackles, respectively. Wafford also has recorded a sack, as has Enoch Smith.
