Breakdown
BUCKS
Bismarck has won two of its last three games, but dropped their previous game against the Sioux Falls Storm. The Bucks are coming off a bye week as they make the trek to the east coast. They have already won more than twice as many games in 2021 as they did in 2019. The Bucks are in prime position to compete for a playoff spot. A win in this one would put them at .600 as they prepare to head down the stretch. Richard Stammetti has been the team's quarterback for the past three games and has largely been effective in the role. He comes in completing 64 percent of his throws with 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Justin Rankin rushes 33.7 yards per game along with five touchdowns. J.T. Stokes leads the receiving group with 25 catches for 421 yards and 12 touchdowns. Raheem Harvey has 25 grabs for 346 yards and Mike Carrigan has 21 catches for 297 yards. Each has seven scoring grabs. Darreon Jackson and Deion Carter lead the Bucks with 43 and 41 tackles, respectively, and Da'Von Keith has 3.5 sacks.
PIRATES
Massachusetts is heading into the final stretch of the regular season with four of its last six games at home. They've pulled off impressive wins over their past two games over the Tucson Sugar Skulls and the Frisco Fighters. Both victories came on las-second field goals from Josh Gable. The 38-37 win over the Fighters ended Frisco's bid for a perfect season, and avenged the Pirates' 40-33 loss to the Fighters on June 12. Alejandro Bennifield has been more than efficient for the Fighters. He comes in completing 53 percent of his passes for 985 yards with 21 touchdowns and five picks. He also has rushed for 10 scores. With Justin Stockton out, Martez Carter is averaging over 40 yards per game rushing with score. Thomas Owens is one of the top receivers in the IFL, recording 38 catches for 521 yards and a dozen scores. Laquvionte Gonzalez will also see some targets in this one. Santos Ramirez has 37 tackles, while Martel Spaight has 35 tackles and 2.5 sacks. J.D. Griggs comes in with a pair of sacks.
