BUCKS
Bismarck is limping into the playoffs after dropping their last two games to the Iowa Barnstormers and Duke City Gladiators (the fourth and 5th seeds in the playoffs, respectively). The Bucks have a talented group of receivers and a solid running back in Justin Rankin. There has been inconsistencies at quarterback, however. Four signal callers have started at the position and another saw significant time behind center. Kenyate Allen has started the past three games and figures to get the call, though Caleb Lewis could see time if he is healthy. Rankin leads the team with 451 yards and 15 touchdowns. JT Stokes leads the team with 42.8 receiving yards per game along with 13 touchdowns. Raheem Harvey is right behind with 40.8 yards per game with a dozen scoring grabs. The Bucks have an above-average defense with Darreon Jackson's 72 tackles leading the way. He also has a pick. Da'Von Keith boasts 3.5 tackles, while Zuril Hendrick comes in with three interceptions.
PIRATES
Massachusetts comes into the season red hot and riding an eight game winning streak. The Pirates won their last two games by a combined score of 106-35. Defense is the key as they allow an IFL-low 33-1 points per game. They're pretty good on offense as well, averaging 44.4 points a game, third-highest in the league. After beginning the season 3-3, the Pirates have put things together in the past two months and will look to continue that into the playoffs. Should they win this one, the Pirates will host a semifinal contest. Alejandro Bennifield has appeared in all 14 of the team's games this season; starting 13 of the. He is completing 55 percent of his passes for 37 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also has rushed for 16 touchdowns. Justin Stockton averages nearly 36 yards per game with nine scores on the ground. Thomas Owens is second in the league with 65.1 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns. Dontez Byrd and Laquvionte Gonzalez compliment Owens in the receiving game. Santos Ramirez leads the defense with 84 tackles, and Harlan Miller has 57 tackles and five interceptions.
