Dec. 8 -- You play one game a year in the Big Apple and the local media thinks they have a chance to land you on next year's roster. Both the New York Post and the New York Daily News reported that the Knicks could target Blazers three-time all-star LaMarcus Aldridge and, there might be a chance, albeit a small one, that he actually could become a Knick. Aldridge said over the summer he is happy with the Blazers, the progress the team has made and is making, and the additions which have been made by general manager Neil Olshey. He said he is interested in being the "best Blazer" in team history and that he wants to re-sign with the Blazers. It should be said that neither publication should be exactly considered among the upper echelon of news publications. Aldridge scored 24 points and collected 11 rebounds in the Blazers' 103-99 win over the Knicks on Dec. 7. if you notice the comments section in the Post's article, you'll see that i narrowed the choices to 99.9 percent to the Blazers and 0.1 percent to his hometown Mavericks.
