That is going to do it for the first round. I will be updating the second round selections, about five picks at a time.

Here is the article from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports regarding the Blazers-Nets trade:
"The Portland Trail Blazers reached agreement on a trade to send the draft rights of No. 23 pick Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and guard Steve Blake to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Mason Plumlee and the rights to No. 41 selection Pat Connaughton, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
The Blazers are faced with a serious possibility that All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge could leave in free agency, and general manager Neal Olshey has begun to remake the roster. The Blazers haven't conceded that Aldridge is gone, but he'd undoubtedly return to a different roster.
Portland traded forward Nicolas Batum to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday for forward Noah Vonleh and guard Gerald Henderson.
Plumlee, 25, averaged 8.7 points and 6.2 rebounds in 82 games for the Nets last season.
The Nets also traded for the draft rights to No. 39 pick Juan Vaulet from the Hornets for two future second-round picks, league sources told Yahoo Sports."

Scratch that earlier tweet. Diez was acquired for cash. Cold, hard cash.

One last note: There were a few trades in this draft but only a few teams were really active. The Blazers, Nets, Cavaliers, Timberwolves and Knicks seemed to be the most active.

Outstanding, Angi! I'm not sure how I feel about the results, but I think this is only the first 48 hours of a plan and we have to let Neil Olshey work his magic.

I read about Diez. He almost seems like he could be another Batum kind of guy.

I read about Diez. He almost seems like he could be another Batum kind of guy. I think we are going to keep him stashed away in Europe.
