If we score, it will come down to an onside kick by a guy who probably not ever practiced an onside kick.

Hogan is not the man.

at this rate, I think Columbia might win more games this season than Stanford. btw, Columbia has lost 20 straight games.

This just sucked. Shaw has no clue. Hogan is not bright. I guess we were spoiled by Andrew. We can't expect to see another Andrew. Hogan and Shaw need to go.

Sucks about Stanford. At least they didn't "Coug it" like WSU did today against Portland State. 31 point underdogs and they win in Pullman.

Vernon Adams and the Ducks offense has been great so far! But, the defense has been average. EWU have some good play makers though.

I am not at all impressed with Oregon's defense. Adams has been decent, but he is playing against a defense he knows well.

In all fairness to Oregon's defense, Beau Baldwin is an offensive guru and Eastern has had a reputation of quality QBs. None in the nfl, but Erik Meyer (AFL), Matt Nichols and Bo Levi Mitchell (CFL) have had success. They did have shootouts vs UW and Oregon state the past two years and they nearly beat WSU back in 2012. Just because they're an FCS school doesn't mean their offense can't compete.

Jordan West is an impressive QB and Cooper Kupp is big time. EWU has a nice offense.

I am sure my brother, Brandon, is loving that. I'm not big on WSU (I have an EWU bias because of college...that and I think Eastern is a better football program), so seeing the loss made me grin a little bit. Good for Portland State, but as for Wazzu, I could only imagine the upset Cougar fans around here. It's funny, I found out about the game at the hotel in Canada. I don't wanna take away from Portland State winning (which, it's good for the Big Sky's reputation), but you have to wonder if Mike Leach's chair is burning. Paying him $2 million for a 12-25 record since 2012 and a loss to a team they were favored by 31 to beat has got to put you on the hot seat.
