DREW'S TAKE
Still looking for their first win of the season, and the first for coach Jose Jefferson, the Crush need to find ways to rebound after another rough game against the Spokane Empire.
The Crush come into the game last in the Intense Conference (0-4) while Nebraska is second (2-2).
Colorado is at a whopping minus-96 in point differential are are struggling on both sides of the ball so far. Nebraska is in the positives with a Plus-49 differential.
Colorado struggled offensively on the board last week against the Empire, accumulating only 106 yards in the air and only averaging 4.6 yards per pass. Return yards were a positive for the Crush however, getting 99 total return yards.
Goldrich was not very effective before leaving the game with an injury in second quarter. We will most likely see Aaron Aiken start this game. Aiken has thrown for 186 total yards so far this season, and a 3-2 TD to INT ratio. This would be his first start in a Crush uniform. He was solid for Colorado last week, completing eight of 15 passes for 70 yards, two touchdowns and a pick, he also ran for another touchdown. Paris Cotton was also solid on the ground getting 30 yards and a TD.
Derrick Morgan still leads the Crush in combined tackles at 25, Antonio Marshall has 22 and Azziz Higgins and Terry Johnson are tied with 20 a piece. Four separate players have recorded half a sack for Colorado, but the team has yet to force neither an interception however. Defense has to be at their best against Nebraska this weekend.
In their last meeting just a few weeks ago, Colorado held in there for the first half, only trailing 28-24, but couldn’t hang in with the unrelenting offense of the Danger. Colorado held the ball longer than Nebraska, had more rushing yards and return yards, but got hurt in the air, allowing 200 passing yards.
Colorado has to bring their top gun to the danger zone Saturday night. This will be the final time these two teams meet this season.

ANGI'S TAKE
The Danger has had an unconventional start to their season. They are winless at home, but thanks to wins over the Crush and Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, are 2-0 in Intense Conference play. Here, in week 6, they face the same Crush team they defeated 54-36 back on March 5.
That game was close through two quarters as the Danger went into halftime with a 28-24 advantage. They would go on to outscore the Crush 26-12 in the second half en route to the win which improved their record to 2-1 overall. Quarterback Derrick Bernard was brilliant in the game, throwing for six touchdowns, rushing for two and accounting for 200 total yards of offense. Wide receiver Dello Davis had four catches for 67 yards and three scores, while running back Rob Brown added five catches for 37 yards and a touchdown to his 28 rushing yards. Wide receiver Dimitri Stimphil had three catches for 23 yards and two touchdowns.
The Danger sit at 2-2, just a game back of the Intense Conference leading Spokane Empire. On their heels are the Arizona Rattlers and Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, each at 1-2.
Bernard's 533 passing yards and 203 rushing yards account for over two-thirds of Nebraska's total offense. His 11 rushing touchdowns lead the IFL. Brown, the twin brother of Spokane defensive back Robert Brown, can be effective on the ground. He has 75 yards on 14 carries for a 5.4 yards per carry average. He also has caught 11 balls on the season for 86 yards.
Nebraska's receiving corps are comprised of Stimphil, who leads the group in all receiving categories (see above). Davis leads the team in yards per catch with 13.2, and has found the end zone four times. The third wide out, Eric Thomas, has eight receptions for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The Danger have forced seven turnovers on the season. They could be poised to add to that number against a struggling Crush offense and, if they do, the could be looking at a 3-2 record when the final gun sounds.
Player to Watch: Derrick Bernard (QB).
