FINAL - Barnstormers 58, Danger 55
3/23/19 --
GRAND ISLAND, NE - Daquan Neal's 42-yard touchdown bomb to a wide open Connor Hollenbeck with 18 seconds left lifted the Iowa Barnstormers to a 58-55 win over the Nebraska Danger tonight at Eilhusen Arena.
With the ball at their own eight yard line, the play appeared to be broken up and Neal was nearly sacked for a safety before escaping the grips of the Danger pass rush before he lofted the ball down field toward a wide open Hollenback for the game-winning score.
With the week 5 victory, the Barnstormers improved to a perfect 3-0 on the young IFL season. The Danger fell to 1-3. Both teams were coming off bye weeks.

Ryan Balentine's nine-yard touchdown catch from Daquan Neal put Iowa back up by a touchdown. Armstrong plunged in from a yard out on fourth-and-goal to tie the game. Iowa came back with a 29-yard bomb to a wide open Balentine. The Barnstormers led 21-14 at the end of the first quarter.

After Nathan Criswell's 28-yard field goal extended the Barnstormers' lead to 24-20, Sapp-Lynch struck again on a 25-yard touchdown run which gave Nebraska its first lead of the game. Neal found Balentine for a 13-yard scoring strike with 22 seconds remaining. The Danger scored with 10 seconds left in the half on Armstrong's 10-yard run. Nebraska led 33-31 at intermission.

That set up the Barnstormers for Neal and Hollenbeck to connect on their game winner.
