Sugar Skulls 56, Wranglers 38
8/21/21 --
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Tucson Sugar Skulls opened up a two-touchdown halftime lead and never looked back as they turned away the Northern Arizona Wranglers, 58-36, tonight at Findlay Toyota Center.
Heading into the season finale, the Sugar Skulls needed to win and needed the Duke City Gladiators to lose their finale to the Bismarck Bucks, in order to earn a playoff berth. Tucson did it's part, but did not get the help they needed with the Duke City result. The Sugar Skulls end their season at 6-8, missing the playoffs.
The Wranglers, who were already eliminated from the playoffs, finished their expansion season with a 1-13 mark.
