On August 14, 2023, via the Rattlers' twitter and the GoIFL.com's transactions page, quarterback Drew Powell has re-signed for the 2024 IFL season. Powell is a three-time IFL MVP (2018, 2021, 2022), and he won the 2023 IFL Offensive Player of the Year as well as four All-IFL selections. Powell is coming off of two 2,000-yard and 40+ touchdown seasons passing. He also has three-straight years of 500+ rushing yards and six-straight years of 10+ rushing touchdowns. Powell has a career record of 48–14 and won the 2018 IFL United Bowl championship.
