March 20 - With his 10th rebound with two seconds left in the third quarter of the Blazers game in Orlando tonight, LaMarcus Aldridge has taken over first place on the Blazers all-time rebounding list..
Aldridge, who finished the game with 10 rebounds, surpassed Clyde Drexler, who played for the Blazers from 1983-95. Drexler gathered 5,339 rebounds in a Blazers uniform in 11-and-a-half seasons.
Aldridge, who entered the game averaging 10.5 rebounds per game this season, surpassed the late Jerome Kersey for second place earlier this season. Kersey, who passed away on Feb. 19, collected 5,078 rebounds as a Blazer.
The ninth-year forward from the University of Texas is closing in on several milestones in his career as a Blazer. He surpassed the 5,000 mark in field goals made in the Blazers March 18 loss against the Miami Heat.
Aldridge is an unrestricted free agent this summer. Should he re-sign this summer, he is expected to surpass a number of those milestones including, perhaps, most points in team history. He has scored 12,317 points for his career. Drexler leads that category with 18,040 points as a Blazer.
Aldridge entered the game already as the leader in defensive rebounds with 3,614. He was third in offensive rebounds with 1,716, trailing only Drexler and Kersey.
Aldridge has 632 rebounds on the season and 5,340 for his career.
The Blazers lost to the Magic, 111-104.

He is LaMazing. Even though we list, I am so glad he is a Blazer. I hope he spends his whole career here.

This is the first of many milestones LaMarcus is going to reach (if he re-signs). It has been a lot of fun to watch him become the player and leader that he has become.
