Join us for our coverage of the 2016 NBA Draft. We will be updating the board, pick by pick as the draft moves along.
The Philadelphia 76ers, who posted the worst record in the NBA last season, won the lottery and will select first. The Los Angeles Lakers have the number two pick for the second year in a row.
The Portland Trail Blazers are one of six teams which do not have a pick in the draft. The others are the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards.
Those teams tend to be just as active, possibly moving into the draft via trades. Conversely, other teams may find it beneficial to trade their picks and move out of the draft.
The draft will be held Thursday, June 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be covered on ESPN nationally and locally in Portland on CSNNW.
Note that players "To Be Traded to ..." are parts of trades which are proposed, but have yet to be officially approved by the NBA.
