The following are the BCS rankings as released today by the playoff committee. These rankings are preliminary and are indicative of each team's overall body of work.
Criteria includes, but is not limited to: Strength of schedule, quality of wins/losses, conference and overall records, and other criteria. following the conference championship games, a final ranking will be released by the committee. The teams ranked first through fourth will complete in a two-round championship tournament, with the semifinal games to be held as the Fiesta Bowl and the Peach Bowl. The winners will face off in the National Championship, to be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The rankings are released each Tuesday and will be updated on this site each week.
