December 12, 2016 -- The Screaming Eagles have announced the signings of a pair of players over the past few days.
Wide receiver Justin Brown and defensive end Jack Fattaleh have been tabbed to join the team.
Brown, a 6'3", 212 wide receiver and kick returner, comes to the Screaming Eagles from Southern Utah University. In three seasons with the Thunderbirds, he hauled in 100 passes for 1,365 yards and 7 scores. He also returned 14 kickoffs for 299 yards for a 21.4 yards-per return average. Brown spent his freshman year at Mesa Community College (Mesa, Arizona) where he gathered 21 passes for 290 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the team -- also called the Thunderbirds. He also had a kickoff return for a touchdown. Brown, from Ogden, Utah, lettered in football, basketball, baseball and soccer while in high school.

Fattaleh, a 6'2", 255-pound linebacker and defensive end when he played at Arizona Christian University, is originally from Phoenix. He appeared in seven games his junior year, tallying 43 tackles and 7 sacks as the Firestorm claimed the Central States Football league Championship in 2015. Prior to his time at Arizona Christian, he played for two seasons at Scottsdale Community College and was a part of the Fighting Artichokes' Western States Football League Championship team in 2013.
The signings come on the heels of the late November additions of wide receiver Raayshawn Jeter; defensive backs Davion Orphey, Ron Tyler and Dionne Thrweat; and linebacker Jercorey Quarterman.
The Screaming Eagles will begin their inaugural season in the Indoor Football League on February 16 at home in the Maverik Center against the Nebraska Danger.
