So, during the Texans-Jaguars game yesterday after being down 13-0 and throwing 2 INT's Brock Osweiler was benched for Tom Savage. As a Texans fan I'm happy about this move as Brock this season has not been great... to say the least. Savage came back and won the game (albeit with some TERRIBLE play-calling by HC O'Brien) and threw for 260 yards... in not even a full game. He really opened up the Texans offense, which is surprising considering he was the backup. Now he is the starter for Week 16 against the Bengals in a primetime Christmas Eve game against the Bengals. All I can say now is GO TEXANS!!!

Well, the Texans have won the AFC South even though they did it in ugly fashion. Hopefully, they can make a good playoff run.

Congrats on the win and the AFC South. Such a talented team but I feel this Brock signing is going to haunt them for a couple more years. I hope Im wrong for you but they surely cant go past their 1st game in the playoffs with their field goal offense

I hope I'm wrong for you but they surely cant go past their 1st game in the playoffs with their field goal offense Depends on who the Texans go up against. I can see the Texans beating the Dolphins or Carr-less Raiders. So if the right scenario happens I can see the Texans making the AFC title game. No joke. If that happens with Savage then things will get tricky with Brock. Luckily it is only a 4 year contract with all the guaranteed money upfront so after 2017 the Texans can get rid of him, so I don't think lasting long term damage will be caused.
