The following is part one of a three-part commentary on the Fan Scouting process of the Salt Lake Screaming EaglesThe concept of the first fan run sports team has brought about a great amount of unusality. People, fans and casual observers have flocked to the concept in an effort to learn the secrets behind pro sports. There may be a few that will use this opportunity and develop true sports careers but the majority will only feed on this too enhance their hobbies and outside work interests. How will the teams performance be affected? The team might actually be a championship contender simply because newer and fresh ideas are brought into the team that figure to give it an advantage over the others, and might lead to a hoisting of the championship in early July. - JGNote: In part 2 of our series we will examine the hard work put in by the fans and the people who run the team. Where will it lead? Will it pay off? To comment on this thread and others on this forum, please login or register.

Inside view, all ideas are listened to and batted around till we use it, adjust it or dump it. They eagerly accept our ideas as you said a different perspective isn't always bad.

I can really appreciate that philosophy. Not every idea is going to work, but it is important that they be considered. I have a lot of confidence in how Project FANchise is building this organization.
