Houston Texans Lose to NE Pats
Red Hot Gridiron Episode I
Thanks again to everyone here for being so nice and to Kasey and DT for giving me this opportunity. I'm looking forward to doing more in the future.

That looks really good. I like the analysis. I would agree that the Texans are a team in flux. The coaching is questionable, but the real question is what they will do about the QB situation. I doubt Brock will ever earn his contract. Drafting his replacement could be a good move. Another difficulty for next season will be that they play a division winner schedule. That could make things difficult for them next season.
I appreciate the shout out and I am looking forward to more episodes!

As far as the Texans go as I said I think drafting a QB in the later rounds like Mahomes or Kelly, is the move. In the first NFL.com Mock Draft Daniel Jeremiah had Deshaun Watson being taken by the Texans. www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000776348/article/jeremiah-mock-draft-10-49ers-jets-texans-fill-qb-needs I actually don't know how I feel about that possibility. I watched a lot of Clemson games during the CFB season and while Watson looked good, I never got the feeling of "this guy is the next great NFL QB" ESPECIALLY in O'Brien's offense which is a "traditional" NFL offense which apparently is crazy complicated and the only people who ever had a grasp on it were Hackenberg, Mallett, Hoyer, and Brady. As you can see by that list there is a huge talent dropoff. However, I will take Watson over Osweiler any day.

I expect Osweiler to start for them next season, but finding your backup plan now could be very valuable. Watson is more of a pocket passer than a lot of people are thinking. He is kind of like a Russell Wilson type who can use the pocket and move around in it, but can also scramble when needed. I think he will be a pretty solid NFL QB.

This was really cool! I only watched Deshaun Watson in the National Championship game. Alabama was supposed to have the best defense in college football history but he had his way with them when he needed to. It seems like Osweiler was unimpressive most of the season. He had a good offense. I doubt he will last a whole lot longer.
