Last week, the Screaming Eagles were surprised by a Colorado Crush using a tactic somewhat rare in the indoor game running. The Crush, apparently thinking they could catch the Screaming Eagles off guard ran the ball more than any indoor team I have seen. This might be a talent issue simply because the Crush, which is also a project fanchise team got off the ground later than the Eagles and tried to slow down the Eagles attack. This week the Screaming Eagles are on a bye week something I am not in favor of simply because it figures to disrupt team unity however it will be interesting to see if next weeks opponent, Spokane attempts to do what NFL teams do best use the run to set up the pass. The Screaming Eagles are new, however, after you win for the first time teams develop a book on you about how to beat you and the better teams like SPOKANE and later defending champion SIOUX City will use this to there advantage. We are ending this week with a sad note about the release early today of Coach William McCarthy, details are still somewhat sketchy but we wish him well in future endevers and hope to see him somewhere in indoor football soon. NEXT WEEK A look at Spokane: Could they be the IFL equivalent to the New England Patriots ?
