3/8/17 --
Monday night's game between Salt Lake and Spokane will serve as a measuring stick of how far the Screaming Eagles have come in such a short period of time.
The Empire are part of the leagues upper crust. The team has a first rate owner, front office and coaching staff that would make anyone envious. The product on the field takes some occasional hits yet it rights it's ship and is one of the finest products in our sport.
This team is equivalent to the NFL New England Patriots, the other teams in the league league watch them looking for what they can pick up off the waiver wire.
The Screaming Eagles will have to match them score for score and hope for a couple of defensive stops to win. If they come out flat and they could based on the turmoil created by their recent coaching change change they could be in for a long night.
The Screaming Eagles have been looking good at times and poor at times. However this franchise may have needed that coaching jolt to spark positive performance which I think they will show in a 81-78 upset win.
Next week is the league content to stay in the Mid-west? We will analyze.

Do you think the Screaming Eagles can overcome the experience of the Empire? It will be a tough road ahead. The coaching change may work out in the long run, but I do not see an immediate impact. I do, however, anticipate an entertaining game.

It's going to be a very tall order for the Screaming Eagles to upset the Empire. I'm with Angi. I want to see an exciting game.
